I also have recently gotten interested in finding homes for dogs that are currently homeless, or on death row at the CACC. I have groomed quite a few dogs at work from this shelter and they have all found homes! It gave me a new outlook on life. I'm always hearing of dogs or cats that need a good home, so email me if you're looking to adopt. I'll be adding some more links to great rescue services in the near future! So keep checking back!But whatever you do, try not to deal with pet stores and puppy mills. Ick!
